about

Compilation of all of the ENDOR (Empty Nights Drowning On Revenge) recordings from 2002 -2004.

ENDOR was a "newschool" Hardcore band from México City during the early 2000's, Originally formed by Lily Cruz on Vocals, Rafael Rodríguez on Drums Jorge Sánchez on Guitar and Arturo Fresán, Bass.

The band begins with the idea of doing metallic hardcore heavily influenced by bands like Morning Again, Integrity, Catharsis and Arkangel, but since being heavily entrenched within the Mexico City Hardcore Scene, DFHC, DIY and punk ethics were an important element for the band, "Innocence" being the only professional production done by the band, as everything else was done with the most rudimentary and affordable gear that the members were able to find.

The band had a very short lifespan but was very active, playing multiple shows and festivals throughout Mexico and Texas, supporting local and international bands on tour and breaching the gap between audiences and genres that at the time were finding their crowds.

In 2004, due to the guitar player rotations, the band morphed into "The 39 Steps" as the musical interest of the band members switched towards a more chaotic style influenced by hardcore and early screamo.
